The upcoming release of Apple's latest software for iPhones is nearing the end of its testing phase, bringing along a slew of changes. How much longer until it's available for everyone? Here's the answer to the burning question: "When will iOS 17.4 be released?"
Throughout the iOS 17.4 beta period, Apple has been expanding features and introducing new changes. Initially, the beta version came with preparations for third-party app store support in the EU, new emojis, enhancements for Device Stolen Protection, transcripts in Apple Podcasts, and much more.
Subsequently, Apple unveiled quantum security for iMessage, improved CarPlay instrument cluster, changes to the iPhone battery health menu, a new "halo" screen, and much more, all included with iOS 17.4.
iOS 17.4 Release Date: TL;DR – iOS 17.4 will be available for all users on or before March 6, 2024.
The early March release aligns with the deadline set by the EU Digital Markets Act on March 6. With Apple currently on the fourth beta version of iOS 17.4, the company might ship the release candidate on the week of February 26, with the official launch on the week of March 4 (between March 4-6).
