Anbernic's Retro Gaming Console, the RG406V, is Now Available Globally

Anbernic, the famous manufacturer of retro gaming consoles, has officially released its latest handheld, the RG406V, to the global market. Priced at approximately $165 (around $2.5 million in Indonesian Rupiah), the RG406V is now available through Amazon and Anbernic's official online stores.

This new device boasts a powerful Unisoc T820 chipset with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Users can also expand their storage to 2TB with an SD card. The RG406V is fueled by a 5,500 mAh battery, promising up to 8 hours of playtime for games with medium graphics settings.

The RG406V boasts a classic retro design with a 4-inch IPS LCD touchscreen display with 960 x 720 pixels resolution. It has ten buttons on the front, two joysticks for navigation, and L1+L2 and R1+R2 buttons on the back, complemented by large speakers.

Anbernic claims the RG406V can run a vast library of Android games, including popular titles like Genshin Impact and Honor of Kings. Additionally, the device can emulate games from various consoles, including PS2, Wii, 3DS, PSP, PS1, NDS, N64, Arcade, and GBA.


The RG406V's joysticks have Hall effect technology, offering precise control and responsiveness. The device also features a six-axis gyroscope for immersive gameplay.
