Losing a text message on your Android phone can be a frustrating experience, especially if it contains important information. While most messaging apps don't offer a direct way to recover deleted messages, there are several methods you can try to retrieve those lost words.
Open the Messages app and tap on your profile picture located at the top right.Select Archived , which displays all messages you've archived.Long-press on the message you want to restore.Tap on the unarchive icon at the top. This will move the message back to your main inbox.
Launch the Samsung Messages app and tap on the three-dot icon located in the upper right corner.Select Recycle Bin .Browse through the deleted messages to see if your desired message is present.Long-press the message you want to restore and tap onRestore at the bottom of the screen.
Go to your phone's Settings app .Search for "Notification History" and tap on the relevant option.Check the list of dismissed notifications for the message you lost. The time stamp should help pinpoint the message.
If you still have WhatsApp installed on your old phone , navigate toSettings > Chats > Chat Backup > Back Up to create a backup.Install WhatsApp on your new phone and follow the setup process.When prompted, select "Restore" to recover all your messages .
